Disable outgoing emails on staging sever

    I use WPEngine for hosting and want to set up a staging site on my account so that I can test software updates. Is there any way to turn off all email notifications from GD and addons? Otherwise they will be sent from both staging and the live site.

    I haven’t seen any overall settings but perhaps there’s some sort of function that would do this?

    GeoDirectory doesn’t provide an option to stop sending notifications.

    Why not? Should be a simple feature to add. I would like to disable specific notifications or ALL notifications without affecting notifications from WP or other plugins. Any plans to add this ability?

    Mainly because it has never been requested.

    If you add a request here https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/ and many will vote for it, we will definitely consider it.

    in the mean time I asked to the developers to let us know if this can be done via hooks.

    They’ll let us know asap,
