Display categories on Listing page

    Hi, can anyone help me out on the following.
    I’ve installed the Custom Post Types add-on plugin and create several new CPT’s. Within these CPT’s I’ve defined several categories, with some categories being named the same over several CPT’s.
    Now I want the categories to be displayed on the Listing page when requesting for a specific CPT Listing, but showing only the categories of that specific CPT. I also would like to have these categories being displayed as sub-menu items on the main menu for the specific CPT’s.
    I’ve got no idea how to achieve this but I’m quite sure it must be possible, looking at : http://templatic.com/demos/?theme=directory
    Also I would like to have the Search being displayed on any Listing page, but of course without the CPT selection field, as I want to be able to search within that specific CPT collection.

    unfortuntely none of this things is currently possible without a customization.

    Please submit each idea as a separate request and if they become popular, we will definitely take them into consideration.

    In case you need this done immediately, I suggest to submit this exact post in the jobs section of the forum and see if any developer is available to be hired and complete the task for you.

    Hi Paolo, What do you mean by customization? Is there no PhP programming involved to achieve this?

    Hi Paolo, Is it possible to enhance the Popular Post Category widgets with options to specify which categories to display from which CPT’s, I currently think this would already be a great step forwards.

    Hi,

    a whole new widget needs to be created to achieve this. I’ve seen you added it to the request system and it will be prioritized if highly voted.
