    Hi,
    I am interested to install DISQUS PLUGIN.
    I have read the following topic:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/conflict-wdisqus-comments/
    where in page 2 @stiofan provides the the code we need add in line 1250 and 225 in disqus.php file.
    After that in page 3 stiofan says something like:

    from next release you will be able to install normal Disqus plugin and it should work out the box

    My english is very bad… I supuse stiofan says that from the next release of geodirctory, we do not need add the snippet in line 1250 and 225.
    But in the help page of DISQUS, for resolve the conflict, disqus support redirects disqus users to the geodirectory forum where stiofan provided the snippet for line 1250 and 225.

    So my question is:
    with the new geodirectory version, do we need add the snippet in line 1250 and 225 for resolve the confilct? Or do we need add nothing?

    Hello,

    It should just work with out any need for code changes, are you having problems? If so please explain what the problem is?

    Hi stiofan,
    I have not yet installed DISQUS, so I have not yet had problems.
    My question was only a PRE question, after to install it, because in the DISQUS support page (https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/472005-troubleshooting-wordpress), they continue sayng to add the snippet…
    So I think that the DISQUS support page is a not update page…
    Maybe you should suggest to DISQUS upload the page 🙂
