I watched this video https://youtu.be/yjtb5mAPIYg and then attempted to adjust some of the shortcodes on a page. When I couldn’t find the shortcode builder in my editor, which by the way looks nothing like the editor in the video, I once again went back to the documentation and found this page https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/
It assures me that if I don’t see a shortcode builder all I need to do is find the CPT UI Tab and drag the shortcode builder to the place tabs. After searching for 10 minutes for the tab under GD settings, I finally found it in Places settings. But when I attempted to drag and drop the shortcode button I was denied. Please help.

    Hi donarcher,

Thanks for your post. Sorry, I’m not getting this. You can’t drag a shortcode builder, but instead, you use it to generate shortcodes and paste it to the location where you’d like to display it. I hope this clears it up. If not, could you tell us a little bit more about it? Perhaps you can share some screenshots?

On The tabs UI (Places -> Tabs) you would ‘click’ the shortcode field to add it, just like any other.
