Hi,
that is the procedure to install plugins, not to update them.
Did you add the username/licence key in GeoDirectory >> Auto Updates? You find the key here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/garagehound/
Than you go to Dashboard >> Updates and auto update them.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
December 8, 2015 at 9:39 pm #62986December 9, 2015 at 5:39 pm #63070Hi Guys,
Thanks for the Help again, Paulo I did what you instructed and the updates all worked so I think everything is up to date.
I’m still having the issue where someone leaves a review and we get an error message and Page not found message and redirects to the blog pages, but the review is still there once you search for it.
I have sent an email to the guys at Themify to see if they can figure it out as well and to see if there is compatibility issues.
Many Thanks.
CraigDecember 9, 2015 at 6:15 pm #63088Did you update WP to 4.4? If yes this is a bug with the new forced comments pagination feature in it.
The next version that we are about to release will solve this.
Let us know,
Thakns

December 13, 2015 at 11:52 am #63641Hi Guys,
I have installed the multi-location and I was wondering if there was a wayy to disable the region category. We are trying to set up a directory in the UAE. When trying to input a listing into Abu Dhabi (another Emirate/City ) in the UAE a prompt comes up and says “please choose any address of the (Dubai) Region only.” Can you help with this?
Also I wanted to ask, if there was any way of storing the data that our users are searching for. Ie; we can see how many people are searching for a particular type brand or service per month.
Many Thanks.
CraigDecember 13, 2015 at 9:57 pm #63663It seems you have set your multilocations to only allow new listings in your default location.
Post a URL and admin details if you want us to check.Wordpress or GD does not keep track of searches within your website.
December 14, 2015 at 3:28 pm #63729Thanks Guust,
I has it set to only allow in Region of Dubai. I think I have sorted the problem now.
Is there any way we can do this that you know of, maybe with a plugin? This really is a key feature for any listings website.
I have also just tried to enable the google analytics for the listing owners. I followed the steps and retrieved my client id and client secret however when I press authorise in Geodirectory>General>Google Analytics I get an error saying “Error 400. The redirect URI in the request: http://www.garagehound.me/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback did not match a registered redirect URI”
Any help troubleshooting this problem?
Cheers in advance. Craig
December 14, 2015 at 9:56 pm #63814There might be a plugin that can assist with recording all searches, a quick Goggle gave me this: https://managewp.com/save-wordpress-search
GD’s search is a bit special because it does not return results on the WP page, but on the specific GD search page. So any of them would require customization. For your analytics, you have not completed all the steps, you have not added the Google Analytics tracking code.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/December 15, 2015 at 12:21 pm #63890I have added the tracking code but I am still getting the same error message…
Craig.
December 15, 2015 at 2:45 pm #63901Also is there a way to change where the “change location” from the multi location add-on button that comes up on the Navigation Menu, I can’t see it on the menu in the appearance dashboard.
December 15, 2015 at 10:13 pm #63971There is not much we can do without checking your analytics account. Make sure you are trying to connect the correct analytics subaccount, ie for the correct domain.
You can change “Change location” int he language file: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
December 16, 2015 at 12:48 pm #64034Hi Guust,
I’m trying to change the location of the “change location” on the actual Menu. if you go onto our website http://www.garagehound.me – I want the “change location” to be to the left of ‘Garage Search’, not to the right of ‘contact us’.
I will keep trying with the analytics.
Many Thanks.
December 16, 2015 at 12:51 pm #64036You cannot change the location of the change location 🙂 [lost in translation]
