    Hi I bought events addon, but I have the following problems

    1. I don’t find the “front page form” in order to add events. When I had installed GeoDirectory the plugin created the page “Add Listing”. So when users goes to http://soysostenible.website/add-listing it will be redirected to http://soysostenible.website/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place. But now I don’t found the page http://soysostenible.website/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event in order to be redirect at the front page add event.

    2. After installer EVENT ADDON, GeoDirectory has created the following page: http://soysostenible.website/events
    In GeoDirectory => Permalink there are the option “Listing url prefix” in order to change the word “places” in http://soysostenible.website/places in an other word. But my question is: How can I change in http://soysostenible.website/events the word “events” in an other word?

    3. I want add the widget EVENT LISTING CALENDAR only in the following page: http://soysostenible.website/events but if I add “EVENT LISTING CALENDAR” in “GD TOP SECTION”, the calendar will be showed also “Places Page” (http://soysostenible.website/places) So, How can I add the calendar only in http://soysostenible.website/events ?

    4. I have created an event (name event is “TEST) with the following category “Alimentación Y Agricultura Ecológica”. In Popular categories box, the category “Alimentación Y Agricultura Ecológica” now show “number (1)”, but
    4.1 Map no show the event (NO RECORD FOUND)
    4.2 Grid no shows the event.
    Where is the problem?

    1- if you go to Design – Navigation (or this link yoursite/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=design_settings) you can decide to add the Add listing for Events post type, to you can manually add this url add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event but first you need to allow the post type from Deisgn – Navigation, where it says “Allow post type to add from frontend”

    2- to change the slug, you can do that by editing the post type from Custom Post Type (you need this addon here https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/custom-post-types/ ), and from there you will be able to change the label and the slug

    3- Install a plugin called widget logic, here https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/ and then on the calendar widget add this code in the Widget logic area

    geodir_get_current_posttype()=='gd_event'

    4- You have set the events to display events for Today only, I think you want to show the upcoming events, to do that go to the Events Settings and in the General tab you will be able to choose the value from the Default event filter

    Before all thank’s for your support.
    I have understood all.
    Now all run well.

    Only one question more:
    I have created two new pages (PAGE A and PAGE B).
    In PAGE A, I want introduce the “events map” and the “event catagories”.
    In PAGE B, I want introduce the “places map” and the “places catagories”.
    So I have introduced in the two news pages the following widget:
    Popular post category
    Gmap – Home Page

    But there are the following problems:

    1. The box “popular post category” show all the categories (places and events). I only want show in PAGE A “event catagories”, and in PAGE B “places catagories”.

    2. The map showed is a map “PLACE+EVENT” where I can do clic in the buttons “EVENT” or PLACES (below on the left) in order to show events or places. But I only want show in “PAGE A” the “EVENT MAP” and in “PAGE B” the “PLACES MAP”. Just like in
    http://soysostenible.website/places
    http://soysostenible.website/events

    There is a why in order to do that?
    Meybe using a especial code with the plugin WIDGET LOGIC?

    Unfortunately there is no way to differentiate the category from the popular category widget, they combine all the post types. What you can do is to create a Text widget and add the link to the category singularly and then with widget logic you can filter the widget, or you can add the link inside the page, as content, without widgets at all.
    For the map you will have the map showing all the custom type

    But when you tell:

    What do you mean?
    Maybe you say that there is no way in order to show a map only with places and a map only with events?
    Only I can have the map with “PLACE+EVENT” where I can do clic in the buttons “EVENT” or PLACES (below on the left) in order to show events or places?

    Is it so?

    after one month I come back at this post.
    In the last reply I ask you about introduce in the PAGE A (that I have created) a map only with EVENTS, and in the PAGE B a map only with PLACES.
    You told me: NO
    Now my question is different:

    Hello Giuseppe, this is not possible either, the default post type is set globally. What you can do is to set a Listing map, not a Home Map (but I’m sure you knew that)
