Great. Well, it’s being reported by people across the country on variety of browsers and OS, and I’m experiencing it myself.

Last time we went round and round for a while because at first y’all weren’t seeing the problem, then you were. I troubleshot it down to a specific plugin that didn’t make any sense, but that’s not in the mix this time. This time I tried turning off all plugins and it was still happening.

This totally fubar’s my site so if there’s anything you can do to look at logs or error reports or anything that opffer up a clue, I’d really appreciate it. : /

Your WordPress and a lot of plugins are out of date.
Keeping WordPress updated is important, and the same applies for plugins.

I suggest you enable debugging so you can check the debug log.
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

To check the debug log after you enable it, will require FTP details.

    Thanks

Sorry, yes, I forgot that I’d done all my updating of wordpress and plugins on my staging site…to no avail. I’ll do the same to my live site, do some more troubleshooting, and touch base again once I’ve done so.

9/10 this is a cache issue. Recently there was an issue caused by Ninja Forms. That has been dealt with in the latest versions.

Since we are just taking a look now and the site is loading fresh for us and working, that also usually means a cache issue.

If we can’t see the issue we can’t fix it. If you can tell us how to recreate the issue we will of course take a look and find a fix.

Sorry, sent that before seeing your last comment. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that that’s it. I have been purging/clearing cache through my web host (WP Engine) and will check in with them to see if they have any ideas. Thanks again for being here for me.

If you find a way to recreate the issue so we can see it, we are always happy to add fixes for WP Engine.

    I DID IT!
I took a fresh crack at deactivating plugins one at a time and successsfully identified WP Invoicing as the culprit. 100% correlation…with it on I and others get the error messages, with it deactivated I and others don’t get the error message. Yay. They claim to support GeoDirectory, and vice versa it seems, so you might want to look into that.

Fortunately it’s not important to my business/site, so I’ve deactivated it and am good to go.

WP invoicing is our plugin too. I guess it was not set up correctly then.
If you are not taking payments for listings, then you can de-activate the Pricing Manager too.

    Thanks

Thanks Guust. When you suggested this I did deactivate and then delete WP Invoicing and the Pricing Manager plugins. My maps were then working fine for a few weeks, but now I’m getting the same error again.

Multiple friends have confirmed that it’s erroring for them too, variety of OS and browsers. One developer friend said he’s seeing this:

    jquery.js:4 GET https://cornholecentral.com/wp-json/geodir/v2/markers/6834?_wpnonce=678a37e3f0&_=1579285697149 403

    He also said

“_wpnonce is being added, so something is adding that to links, and that gets expired”
