Exporting listings

We tried to export our listings in order to batch edit some details. But when we tried to import them back, we encountered errors. Upon checking the original, unedited csv file we found out that extra commas were inserted in the code of texts from the custom fields we created in Geodirectory specifically from the textarea custom fields and html input textarea fields even though these commas were not in the original values. Because of this the data column got messed up.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for your post. Please only use https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/calc/ software to edit the CSV files as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommended . Could you give it another try?
