Front page meta description

    Hi,

    Version 2 and Supreme theme.

    If I set the “disable overwrite by yoast…” in the titles section then this stops the front page Meta Descripotion from being written out.

    Does not then seem to be a place to put this in the geodirectory titles page.

    Thanks for your post. If you’ve enabled that option here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/yoast/ , you’ll need to check your Yoast setup for all your pages since it took control of the “Titles & Meta”

    Hi Kor,

    What I meant is that when I disable Yoast I don’t get a meta description on the home page. This means when geodirectory has control it does not add the meta description.

    Thus, I have to use Yoast.

    Bumping this back up as gone quiet.

    This issue really forces me to use Yoast as when I use geodirectory titles I don’t get a meta description in the page header for the home page.

    I want to use geodirectory as when I use Yoast the page titles are rubbish for the location page.

    Thanks for your reply and I apologize for overlooking this. You should have the option to enter titles and metas as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#titles-and-meta . If it doesn’t work, kindly share you wp admin access here in private reply and we’ll check it out for you.
