GD Add Listing Default Page

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Please help me to understand how come I can’t change the page.

    The settings now in:
    Geodirectory-Settings-pages-add listing is “add listing”

    If I “click” to edit the page the only thing there is:
    [gd_add_listing]

    If I “click” to see the default content the things there are:
    [gd_notifications]
    [gd_add_listing]

    Please help me to understand that!

    Hi,

    to edit what’s in the form (the fields) you must go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields.

    Thank you Mr. Paolo, but I believe I did not myself understood.

    I want the Default DG Listing page, solely with the following content:
    [gd_add_listing]

    and when you click “edit” to edit the page, the content there shows:
    [gd_add_listing]

    But, if you click the “view default content” it shows:
    [gd_notifications]
    [gd_add_listing]

    and [gd_notifications] is active and I want to remove it.

    I do not know how to do it… Sorry

    There is no need to remove that.
    You can remove the Admin notifications here:
    GD > Settings > General tab > Developer sub-tab > Enable admin hints > Clear the check-box.

    Mr Guus, thank you very much for your reply.

    However, that action is not correcting the problem. I will try to make a different question:

    When I edit the “GD Add Listing” Default page in here:
    Geodirectory<Settings<pages<page settings<add listing<edit page

    The system is not taking the changes. That is the problem.

    If I see the “Edit Page” or “View Page” the page will show only this code: [gd_add_listing]

    But if you see the “View default content” the codes shown there are:
    [gd_notifications]
    [gd_add_listing]

    I delete the page and created a new one and still the same, how can I remove that “[gd_notifications]” from the page. Please help…

    “View default content” is only showing what we suggest you add in the actual page. You cannot change that. That is only there in case you want to copy and paste that in a new page when you want to restore the original content for example.
