How safe is it to build a site around Geodirectory with Theme Builders such as Elementor Pro?

Suppose I wanted to use Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder to build the single.php template for GD CPTs.

Is this a terrible idea? Am I likely to run into problems?

    Hi Jeremy Rangel,

Thanks for your post. You can use GD with any page builders without issues. Since we use shortcode https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/ to display the GD modules, you can customize the listing page any way you like. You can use the “Free” version for a test https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/ and if you liked it, you can consider purchasing the Elementor Pro version.

You will need Pro to work on template pages.

So what is the right way to modify the single.php for listings?

I have made a template with Elementor Pro. It seems to load the title and meta just fine, but it won’t load the image as a background.

This is by using the Elementor Theme Builder and making a single.php for “Places”.

Notice, in the first photo, how in the back end of the builder, it shows the Place featured image.

In the second photo, however, it loads the meta, but not the background featured image for that section.

In Pro create a single template using the theme builder and apply it to places
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/354-creating-a-single-post-template

Use the WP HTML widget for shortcodes or use GD Widgets and drag and drop them where you want them on the page.
