    Hi guys,

Two weeks ago, a plugin I used on my site, yellow pencil, was the cause of a database redirect hack. My hosts fixed it for me, and rolled back the site to before the hack restoring everything that went wrong.

The site was functional, but I got reports from users that areas serviced by GeoDirectory plugins couldn’t be accessed. I put it down to user errors, as I could access them.

Yesterday, I updated plugins, and immediately the site went down, stating that Geodirectory plugins were faulty. I asked my host to roll back the site again to three weeks ago, but even with that backup, I am now getting Geodirectory errors that are brreaking my site. I have now disabled Geodirectory plugins, except for Geodirectory for buddypress and the core geodirectory. But, I get a page not found when going to the basic directory.

I use the following Geodirectory plugins:
    Geodirectory
    Geodirectory payment manager
    Geodirectory event manager
    Geodirectory location manager
    Geodirectory buddypress

I use buddypress in conjunction with Youzer, which works without a glitch.

Could someone please help me out with this – it is way above my knowledge of what could be going wrong.

    Hi Maliza,

Thanks for your post. It looks like you did not disable all GD plugins during the conversion. Could you follow the instructions here again https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/#conversion and see if it helps?

    Hi Maliza,

Thanks for your reply. If you did not perform the conversion, please make sure that all your plugins belong to GDV1 as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#version . If you’re still not sure what’s happening, please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it.
