Hi,
I’m attempting to set up the google analytics tab. I am getting this error:
Error: redirect_uri_mismatch
Application: GeoDirectory
The redirect URI in the request, http://inwesternaustralia.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client. Visit https://console.developers.google.com/…………. to update the authorized redirect URIs.
How do I fix this?
The email address on my google analytics account is not the same as the one used for geo-directory
June 29, 2016 at 11:11 pm #218744Hi,
please follow the documentation: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/
Particularly this part:
This is the next screen where you can create your Client ID:
Authorized JavaScript origins: Enter the website address of your website without any sub-folders, for example:
http://www.mysite.com
Note: match it exactly to the URL of you site, so if your site does not use WWW, leave it out.
Authorized redirect URIs: Enter your website address followed by the same specific URL, for example:
http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callbackLet us know how you went,
Thanks
June 30, 2016 at 1:59 pm #218972I am running into a similar problem. It makes no sense to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I am receiving the following.
401. That’s an error.
Error: invalid_client
The OAuth client was not found.

June 30, 2016 at 5:01 pm #219126hi,
please see point 4 of this doc:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/
Go to Credentials, then Create credentials and select OAuth client ID (you may be asked to add a product name first, just add a name and save and you will be taken back to the correct screen)
Are you 100% sure you followed that tutorial correctly? We can’t access your google account, so we can’t really do this for you.
Please try to start again.
Let us know,
Thanks
June 30, 2016 at 7:38 pm #219247For the Authorized Redirect URI:
I should be putting
http://plainbusiness.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback
Correct?My site is plainbusiness.net.
I still don’t have it.
It seems pretty simple. I don’t know how I am screwing this one up.June 30, 2016 at 11:00 pm #219272That is correct, let us know how you went,
Thanks

July 6, 2016 at 4:45 pm #222723Hi johanna,
you have a coming soon page, Google Analytics will only work once you disable it.
Thanks
p.s. in addition your URL has www in front of it, so your redirect url should be with www.
July 6, 2016 at 5:21 pm #222735Hi Paolo,
My redirect url is http://www.inwesternaustralia.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback
I don’t understand why the google analytics won’t authorise whilst there is a coming soon page. Please can you clarify.
Many Thanks
JoannaJuly 6, 2016 at 5:38 pm #222741Hi Joanna,
Can you send us a screen shot of your google console api settings?
Thanks,
