    Hi,

    I’m attempting to set up the google analytics tab. I am getting this error:

    Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

    Application: GeoDirectory

    The redirect URI in the request, http://inwesternaustralia.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client. Visit https://console.developers.google.com/…………. to update the authorized redirect URIs.

    How do I fix this?

    The email address on my google analytics account is not the same as the one used for geo-directory

    Hi,

    please follow the documentation: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/

    Particularly this part:

    This is the next screen where you can create your Client ID:

    Authorized JavaScript origins: Enter the website address of your website without any sub-folders, for example:
    http://www.mysite.com
    Note: match it exactly to the URL of you site, so if your site does not use WWW, leave it out.
    Authorized redirect URIs: Enter your website address followed by the same specific URL, for example:
    http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback

    Let us know how you went,

    Thanks

    I am running into a similar problem. It makes no sense to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I am receiving the following.

    401. That’s an error.

    Error: invalid_client

    The OAuth client was not found.
    Request Details

    access_type=offline
    approval_prompt=force
    scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly
    response_type=code
    state=123
    redirect_uri=http://plainbusiness.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback
    client_id= 990664959901-jo6bd4rhrocjcrcndpvru0274t508rjo.apps.googleusercontent.com

    That’s all we know.

    hi,

    please see point 4 of this doc:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/

    Go to Credentials, then Create credentials and select OAuth client ID (you may be asked to add a product name first, just add a name and save and you will be taken back to the correct screen)

    Are you 100% sure you followed that tutorial correctly? We can’t access your google account, so we can’t really do this for you.

    Please try to start again.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    For the Authorized Redirect URI:
    I should be putting
    http://plainbusiness.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback
    Correct?

    My site is plainbusiness.net.

    I still don’t have it.
    It seems pretty simple. I don’t know how I am screwing this one up.

    OK it won’t let me sign in to Google but i did spot several spaces in all entries which will break things, i have removed the spaces now so please retry authorizing now.

    Hi johanna,

    you have a coming soon page, Google Analytics will only work once you disable it.

    Thanks

    p.s. in addition your URL has www in front of it, so your redirect url should be with www.

    Hi Paolo,

    My redirect url is http://www.inwesternaustralia.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback

    I don’t understand why the google analytics won’t authorise whilst there is a coming soon page. Please can you clarify.

    Many Thanks
    Joanna
