I tried to activate Google Analytics yesterday and when I did so I got the attached fatal error and could no longer access my WordPress Account. I uninstalled the site and started again as it had no content but now I’m worried if I activate it again today the same thing will happen. Please advise what I should be doing about this?
    Thanks

    Hello,

I have the same problem from yesterday (30/01/2017) when I connected Google analytics for the first time yesterday.

I have completed all steps of this link: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/

Now I can’t access to my admin wordpress account.

    Thank you for your help,

    Cyrille

    Hi,

the google api causes a fatal error if there are no google analytics accounts under the attached google account.

This is a bug we fixed on the latest version, if you provide FTP credentials we will install latest version that will fix this.

We haven’t tested, but probably if you simply create a Google Analytics account under the Google Account used, it will fix it too.

    Thanks

Setting up an Analytics Account in my Google Account first worked. Thank you.

    Hi Cyrille TOUZELET,

Are you able to solve the issue? If not, please open a new thread and post your WP temp admin credentials on your second posts. You can post the details using the private reply option.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    It’s ok thank you.

Creating a Google Analytics account under the Google Account has fixed the problem.
