    Hi there,
I’m trying to setup Geodirectory, and when I try to add places I get ‘Map Not Loaded’ in the admin UI.
Open Street Maps work fine, but Google Maps doesn’t work.

I believe I have setup Google API correctly, and even used an unrestricted Google API key that works fine on another site to see if that would work, and it still fails.

    Console output:
    Maps API Not Loaded 🙁
    goMap.min.js:1 google
    goMap.min.js:1 null
admin.min.js:1 Maps API Not Loaded 🙁
    admin.min.js:1 gdColorPicker

    Hello,

I see what you mean on the add place page that the map isn’t loading.

It is likely a conflict with another plugin. To diagnose the issue could you try a conflict test? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#conflict-test

I recommend you clone the site to staging for testing.

That would be surprising, since I have the same plugins on the other site and it works well. Is there something else I can try, or other information you can give me on what is going wrong?

The Maps API is not loading, and yet there is no error.

Ok, it took me some time to track down, but I was able to fix it.
For your reference the Perfmatters plugin https://perfmatters.io/ has the ability to disable Google Maps, if this is set it will cause maps in GeoDirectory to stop functioning.

    Thanks
    Vanessa
