    We recommend you to run v1 to v2 conversion on staging site instead of copying data via import/export data from live.
    A V1 to V2 conversion changes the database. Only changing the plugins will not work.
    Exporting from a V1 setup to a V2 will not work, the database is different.

    p.s. you don’t need to move files, you need to move the database. We can give you guidance up to a certain point, but we cannot do it for you.

    Exporting listings and importing into another site will only work if all the same categories and custom fields are already created exactly the same, and it has the same default location [if you do not use Location Manager]. I don’t know if that is the case.
