Hide CPTs while being developed

Hi, I’ve have three Custom Post Type: Places, Events and Listings.

Can I ‘deactivate’ these while I’m developing the settings until things are ready to go live?

All three are viewable in the drop down box on the Add Listing drop down box, on the Archive Page and on the Listings page.

Thanks for your post. You can prevent your users from adding listings using the “Disable Frontend Add” option on your CPT settings https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/add-listing/#more-design-options

You can easily remove menu items by simply deleting them.

For the Search bar, you can choose which post type is the default and then hide the CPT select
