    hi,

I’m running a Staging site and went through the process of converting to v2. I hope to reproduce the site, test the new features and then once I know there are no issues to push it to the main site. I’ve following the instructions and for the most part I am getting closer.

A few issues that I haven’t been able to resolve:

    1. The main GD page (not the home page) is showing up displaying this code in the header area, instead of the short code displaying the map. [gd_homepage_map width=100% height=600px maptype=roadmap zoom=1 autozoom=true child_collapse=true scrollwheel=false marker_cluster=1 ]

This is located in the header content (optional) section of the page

You can see the v1 page here:

    https://threefolddirectory.com/anthroposophy-directory/

    and the v2page here

    https://threefolddirectory.com/tfdirectorynew/anthroposophy-directory/

    2. all of the sidebars do not appear under widgets. how to I recreate these sidebars to add the widgets. I am using KLEO theme.

    3. the ratings and reviews v2 plugin breaks the site.

    thanks,

    michael

    1. That is a GDV1 shortcode. You will need to transition any custom shortcodes to GDV2 shortcodes.

    2. GDV2 uses the sidebars of your theme, or you can create your own.
Read more about themes here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/

    3. When you say ‘breaks the site’ can you be more specific?
Be sure you have installed the V2 version of the addon. If you would like us to take a look please make a private reply with both WP Admin credentials and site URL as well as FTP information.

    Thanks
