How can i display the Exerpt in Listings in Frontend?

    Hi, supreme theme have in the “new place” section in the backend an exerpt field, where i can put text inside … but the exerpt don’t shown on the listing page … – i want to show the exerpt instead of the description under the picture in the listings … how can i do this?

    i have a fresh (today) new installation of supreme with geodirectory v2 and starter theme …

    I don’t think there is an option for that.
    But you can create a new textarea custom field and use that instead to in the GD Archive Item.

    Thanks for answer 🙂 …. but, there is a field in “add new place” (or “edit place”)… please look at the attachment – after opening hours … a block with “textauszug” in german (excerpt) … can i use this too? and waht i have to write to use this field in the GD Archive Item? … this field is in the core or theme, don’t programmed it myself … get it with the supreme theme (or geodirectory core?).
    i attached a screenhot (hope you understand what i mean).

    That is the standard WP excerpt, but GD does not use that.
    If you want to use an admin only textarea field [which is similar to an excerpt] you can create that as a custom field.

    ok, i am a newbie, but i made now a custom field … called “subtitle” (as seen in the 1st screenshot) put ist after “title” … and make the option output on “listings” too

    and at the GD Archiveartikel Page … i write a new code – as seen on the 2nd screenhot: gd_subtitle tag=’h2′

    but the output is not correct … see on the 3rd screenshot

    the “listings” output shows me the subtile correctly but with “info:” (i have to put text inside in the field in backend, and this text – which i dont want shown (Info:) – displays too …)
    and from the GD Arichartikel Page … it shows the code …

    What i do wrong?
