    Hello!

I’m looking to have my directory sorted so the “Featured” listings are shown at the top. I was able to follow the directions outlined here:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/

Which seemed to work – but – I am unclear how the rest of the items are sorted. They don’t seem to be alphabetical.

I would like the “Featured” listings on top, sorted alphabetically – and – then the rest of the listings below sorted alphabetically.

Is this possible? If not can someone explain the logic behind the sorting outside of just “Featured” otherwise? Seems random to me.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for your post. You can refer to this section of the documentation that explains more about this https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/#sorting . I hope it helps.

Add a subsort ‘under’ (indented) the featured sort.

    What indented looks like:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/#sub-sort

That will sort ‘within’ the results of the featured sort.

    Featured – Descending
    – Subsort – A-Z Ascending
