Hi, I have a problem with the address fields. Currently I have it set to autopopulate but the listings are coming out very messy. It is filling in the business address field, but also autopopulating the extra fields, then displaying them all on the listing resulting in the attached screenshots.

I have checked through some of the showcase sites and no one else seems to be having this problem, so either they have found a solution, or their customers are taking the time to remove the additional autopopulated addresses in the business field. Unfortunately I don’t believe most of my customers will take the time, or realise they need to do this.

The below example displays correctly unlike mine

Extra info needs to be removed from the “Business Address” field, true. Manually, yes, possible, but it should be removed automatically once it is parsed out to fill the other fields.

This is probably a plugin conflict, another plugin interfering with that automatic screen base behavior.

Have you tried disabling non-gd plugins to see if one might be causing it? An switched themes?

If you can’t find the cause, please share WP Admin and FTP and we will take a look.

    Thanks

Thanks for looking. I actually have openstreetmap set rather than google maps. Would you recommend I use google maps instead?

    Hi!
Yes I saw that, I did, and though you don’t need to switch to Google for other maps, it would, it seems, help with this particular issue to have an API key. You can add the key and then leave it set to OSM.

OK! We will look into the issue, and glad you have a fix for the moment.

    Hi @stevebullman,

Which “exact” address you searched in address field? I tried few searches but did not get as in screenshot.

Morning Kiran, see above. I have switched to google maps rather than openstreet and its now working as expected.

    Thanks
