    Hi,
I have this design for the moment (in french, I guess there is a problem with the translation for the title showing variable).
How can I customize this page so it looks a little nicer ? 😉
And can I get rid of the black bar with the css class : “geodirf-ab” at the top of the page?
    Many Thanks !
    Regards,
    Anthony

You should not translate anything between % like that. That will break the variable.

You can add widgets etc, have a look at GD > Design > Author tab.
    More info at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory

    Thanks

    Hi,
I didn’t translate anything, it’s part of the .po file for french.
Is this part of the core translation file ?

That would seem to be a string from core, yes.

Please send over a page URL showing the element you want to hide.

I cannot find %%hom%% in the French language file.
Variables should not be translated, so I guess that is the %%title%% variable.

If that is translated in the PO file that would be incorrect.
Where did you find that PO file, so we can fix it. Thanks

I’ve found the .po file here : https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/geodirectory/stable/fr/default

I’ve got the same result both with my own french translation and with the Pat’s one.
Found this string which is very close to the label displayed :
    %%pt_plural%% by: %%name%%
    Translated in :
    %%pt_plural%% par: %%name%%

Here is my url, it’s the “login” page.

Right, now it is using %%name%% instead of %%nom%%, so now it works correctly.
I’ll set this ticket to resolved, let us know if you still have any questions.
    Thanks
