On my /add-listing page. I would like to change the field titled “Place Title *” to be “Business Title” I cannot locate how to edit this code in the backend. Please advise.

    Second question,
Can the map view be set to a default style, rather than giving the person posting the choice?

    Thanks,
    H

    Hello,

have you tried installing the Custom Post Types addon?

You can change the name of the CPT with that, and then visit the title field itself to make additional adjustments.

About the map, do you mean how the map is displayed on the listing details page?

You can set that and enforce how it is shown, certainly. You can hide the option to choose the map style in the custom fields settings for address, and then edit the tabs to add a shortcode for the map you want, or add a widget instead to show the map in a sidebar.

    See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/maps/#tab

    Hi Alex,

I added the custom post type. Then I exported all my categories changing the post_type to my new gd_business custom post type. I did the same for my listings.

After I did this my maps would not work and when I try to add a new listing I get the message “Please choose any address of the (Durango) city only.” I deleted everything and then re-imported everything BACK into the default gd_places. All of my data came back but the maps still do not work and I still get the above error when trying to add a new location. My default is still set to the same Durango Colorado it always has been. Please advise as to why I am seeing this message please.

    Thanks,
    H

I added the multi location add on and this seems to have fixed the JS error message about “Please choose any address…”

I added a new location which fixed the map but it only shows my new location and not any of my previous locations that I re-imported.

The issue is somewhat resolved but I still still like to know why exporting them and moving them into the gd_business custom post type caused everything to break. I went in to the settings and made sure all tabs had matching settings for every one of the tabs under the settings area.

Never-mind. I found the permalinks and refreshed those. All good. Thanks.

This is a WP INvoicing issue. I believe a fix is on the way for this. If the issue persist please post to https://wpinvoicing.com/support/
