How to require image upload for published listing?

Hi Guys!,

We want to require an image upload, at least one, for a listing to be published. As you can see at Photographer.org, we are using a default image to fill those spots in the search results, but we do not like the appearance it creates and we’d like to require an image for their listing to be published in the search results.

Is this possible or what type of customization will we need?

Thanks, but I had read that already. What would need to be customized, can you point me in the right direction? We can’t officially launch our project until this is fixed. Thanks!

Hello,

We can’t do customizations here in support as it is outside our support policy.

This is a relatively complex issue that is easier if just dealing with the backend editor, as shown in this link here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/require-featured-images-posts-wordpress/

However, you would probably also want to require the image in the frontend editor, and so you would need to work with the add-listing page template, which we do not recommend, and which template will be changing a lot in V2.
