Here there. I am new here and trying to figure out how to create a directory that allows clients of the Department of Veterans Affairs to rate their service provider. The service providers will be counselors, doctors, etc. They work at different locations nationwide.

I have numerous CSV files already set up, but I’m not sure how create new fields for what I want within GeoDirectory prior to import.

For example, we will include the following columns in addition to the name and location of each:
    1) Grade
    2) Pay Plan
    3) Annual pay for each year going back a few years
    4) Bonuses
    5) Certifications
    6) Licensure

What do I need to set up to ensure these columns are accepted when I import the information?

Also, I do not want users to be able to add listings, only provide reviews. How can I shut that off for non-admin?

Create new custom fields for the additional info, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom

Add at least one listing after you have created the additional fields.
Then export the CSV file and all columns will be ready automatically.

    Thanks

PS: Create categories for counselors, doctors, etc, rather than CPTs unless you want different fields etc.
