Things to check would be:
Are your permalinks set correctly.
Is multilocations set up correctly – sounds like it is not.
Are all categories already added to the system. If you cannot give access to support, we can only guess, sorry about that.
Documentation that might be helpful:

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/June 21, 2016 at 10:39 pm #213503Do you have the Location manager installed?
If you don’t, the option will be in GeoDirectory > Set default location.
If the location manager is not installed, you can only import listings in the default location.
If Google Maps API return that address to be in Heathrow the system will not let you add it for Lake Mary.
I hope you realize this is like asking to a mechanic to fix your car on the phone, it doesn’t make sense.
If you have a NDA with your customer, create a staging website, where whoever is supposed to provide tech support, is able to do so.
There are far too many variables to check (some could be outside of our product like server, theme or other plugins code) to be able to provide assistance without actually looking at the website.
Thanks

This might be useful: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/franchise-manager/You need to allow submissions to different locations at GD > Multilocations.
June 21, 2016 at 11:13 pm #213520Hi Guust, thanks for the feedback.
Here’s the issue. My CSV would not upload no matter what I did. BUT .. but once I changed the city name (in the listings) to identical name I have as my Default Location, only THEN did it work.
However what if I need to add a listing of a business in a city next door? Different than my default .. how do I get the Import to work then?
Thx so much!

If you want to add locations outside your default location, you will need to install the MultiLocations addon before you can import your data.
And see also my earlier reply:
You need to allow submissions to different locations at GD > Multilocations.
June 21, 2016 at 11:31 pm #213530Paolo, I understand. I have to work within this framework, sorry. Staging server makes all the sense in the world .. but we only have so much resources. But I think I will work on that for the long term.
Still what you and Gusst say makes sense, I just installed Locations Manager plugin and created those other cities.
Will try importing now. Thanks for all your help and sorry to bother.
We are all in for GeoDirectory and unfortunately I know I will be back soon with more questions. lol
Thanks again!
