    Hi,

I just updated a couple of websites with your latest updates. It seems to be causing a problem with the Geo Welcome login widget. A user is not being redirected to the login page when they click on ‘sign in’
The URL directs to the log in page as it should, but the actual website stays on the home page.

All the websites which I haven’t updated yet are working fine still.

    Help??

    Thanks

Have a look at the changelog at https://wpgeodirectory.com/change-logs/#v1.5.3
New GD page gd-login added for login/register – ADDED

You will have to visit GD > permalinks and check how the page is connected there.
The page should be called /gd-login

    OK thanks.
The update for the theme wasn’t there when you completed the Geo updates.
The Welcome login widget now works and directs to gd-login, but the GD Footer options have disappeared from the widget section. Does your theme not allow for a footer option now? It’s very important for our websites…

    Thanks

    What are your settings at
GDF options > Footer Styling Options > Enable footer widget areas ?

    Do you have Footer widgets?

Stiofan, in my test site I have the latest GDF and the footer widgets are not registering anymore.

    Hi Guust,

The footer widgets are still set within the GEO setting as 4. I have changed this to 1 then back to 4 yet there are still no footer widgets now in the widgets settings. This has happened to the sites we have updated the theme on , all the sites we have not yet updated are working fine.

The footer widgets we were using are now in the ‘inactive’ area and there are no actual footer options available. The footers are very important to our websites as they hold a lot of information.

This is a bug, we will be releasing a fix in the next hour or two.

    Thanks,
