Limit all recurring events to display only a single event

    If I understand correctly, what you want is to edit the contents of the Location page, and add your GD Listings shortcode there.

    GD Loop is only used on the Archive and Search pages (not location).

    I understand now that GD_Loop should not be used on a Location page.

    We need to know if we can use a Location page template for Places(titled Cities) and a Location page template for Events in our top navigation. They are separate menu items leading to separate pages.

    The Location page will be used for location/country/region/city
    The Archive template will be used for places/country/region/city
    Each CPT can have as different Archive template, so, you can make one specifically for events.
