Hi:
For some reason, the image slider in the listing page is not working properly and we see an endless spinner icon instead.
Curiously, it works well on some listings but not on other.
I’ve reduced and optimized the image sizes as much as possible.
Any insight?

In some cases Jetpack image setting can result in this behavior.
Also, please review the settings for WP Super Cache: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#super-cache
Let us know if those solve your issue

Thanks greatly for your help.
I have WP Super Cache installed and activated but the settings are exactly as recommended.
I deactivated it and the problem remained.
Same for JetPack.
Same for another cache, endurance.
Any clue?

Thanks for the tip… there is indeed some room for improvements! I’ll have a close look at that.

I forgot to ask, could please send over FTP information so we can continue diagnosis? Once i verify the FTP we can proceed.
In some cases it is possible to comment out a few lines in a theme to ‘make’ it work.
I can see the images are loading, the URLs are there, but there is a JS conflict.

I can’t connect with those FTP creds. We will follow up during service hours with WP Admin access.
Let us know if your issue is resolved in the meantime.
BTW, I couldn’t find “Endurance” cache? But, even with Jetpack and WP Super Cache de-activated, there was still some other cache plugin operating.
Is there another cache plugin?

On another note, I experienced a conflict between GD and JetPack.
Recently, the Email Sharing Button at the bottom or each post stopped working.
When clicking on it — instead of the usual prompt – a new page opens and we go back to where we were.
I contacted JetPack who advised me to deactivate all plugins until I find the culprit… which happened to be GeoDirectory.
Are you aware of any issues of this sort between JetPack and GD?
I searched the forum and KB but found nothing.

I mean the Email sharing button at the end of a post which is a feature provided by JetPack (see attached screen capture).
I re-activated JetPack for your convenience. Go at https://depquebec.com, click any post, go at the end and click the email button.
Instead of a prompt allowing you to email a friend, it will simply open another page.
And yes, JetPack is up to date (5.5.1 version, I checked)
