    Hi – after using PHPmydirectory I find it odd that this directory theme is lacking the ability to count listing views. If this were being logged it would be possible to display popular listings etc.

    And with PMD I used to send listing owners monthly emails that let them know how many impressions, and views their listing had received, along with phone number views, shares and emails etc

    I hope GD will soon incorporate this tracking to allow these very useful features to be possible.

    Meanwhile I gather there is some way to allow listing owners to view Google Analytics stats in their dashboard, please could you tell me how I can achieve this?

    Thanks for your post. Have you tried using this addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/google-analytics/ and see if it’s what you’re looking for.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for your reply. You need to insert the GD Google Analytics widget into the sidebar of the details listing page as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/google-analytics/#design . Then, the listing owner will be able to see the analytics.
