    Hi,

We’re trying to import some 50-odd listings from an older version of a GD site we’re currently rebuilding from scratch. We followed the GDV2 doc here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/ to the letter, adding test listings, exporting said listings, and reformatting the old export to match the formatting of the new export. Not only does the reformat of the old export not import any of the listings, but the export of the test listings (that we since deleted) won’t import either, and gives us the exact same error (item(s) updated / item(s) ignored due to already exists).

Here’s a video so you can see exactly what we mean: https://d.pr/v/VSoDKd

It seems strange that no listings will import no matter what changes we make, when the categories imported flawlessly.

Will give admin details and attach the csv we’re attempting to import in a private reply.

You do need to choose the option “Update if ID exists” if your CSV contains rows with post_id. Otherwise all rows with post_id will be ignored.

If you are importing listings ‘as new’ then the rows should NOT have a post_id.
