I’m more than sure that my browsers (Chrome & FireFox) both support Location Detection. I’ve looked for a solution on this site (including the offline documentation) and I’m not seeing anything that helps me fix this. Would be a HUGE bummer if this feature doesn’t work in the 2 most used browsers.

Do you have a SSL certificate installed for your site? See https://wpgeodirectory.com/adding-a-ssl-certificate-to-your-website/
    Let us know. Thanks

No we do not. Are we going to need one in order to get that part working?

How much more things will we have to buy in order to get your plugins to work?

    Hi,

our plugin works without SSL, however if you want to take advantage of GeoLocation (which is only an option), all browsers now require that you encrypt the data sent by the user, because without a SSL certificate, anyone could sniff that data and that would be a very high security issue, because it would provide physical location of the website users to anyone.

So it is not to use our plugin, but to use GeoLocation over the internet.

    Thank you,

p.s. if you know how to install it, https://letsencrypt.org/ provides free ssl certificates

    Ah, now that makes sense.
