    By process of elimination I found the offender.

    ‘Yoast Local’ plugin.

    Had to be the one at the end of the alphabet 😀

    When Active Search results by location don’t work.
    Inactive, Everything works fine.

    Tried multiple combinations and always came back to this one.

    At least that is sorted.

    Now all I need is a faster server so that the autocomplete runs quicker.
    Its still quite slow, but it is better than it was.
