I have posted this in the requests page, however none of my requests seem to get listed so am posting here also.

Is it possible to incorporate a Location Only based search?

At present it seems that I have to enter the listing name to yield location based results.
When no listing selected and only location entered it gives me No listings were found matching your selection.

What if a person doesn’t know the listing name and wants to see all listings in an area – like the Near Me facility but could be based on whatever location the site visitor selects?

As much as I love WP GeoDirectory, without this feature it is not fit for my purposes and I know is causing a lot of people to leave my site.

Make sure to set your Advanced Search to auto-suggest locations. Then it should work.

If we need to check your settings, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply.

    Thanks

    Hi Guust,

    I don’t see that option.

See screenshot of Advanced Search Options.

You did not post in the V2 forum so I thought you were using V1.

If we need to check your settings, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply.

    Thanks

in V2 that settings has been moved to the

GD – Settings – Locations tab – Enable location search autocompleter?

You currently have this enabled, but suggestions are not appearing.

Immediately after submitting a second search I got a 500 error.

This suggests to me, between the two issues, that there is a resources problem preventing the location suggestions from showing.

Please contact your host about the 500 error or see our docs about diagnosing the issue:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#500

WP Easy Updates license info isn’t displaying so it is hard to know if the plugins are up to date. Please follow the instructions here to remedy the License visibility issue:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#missing

On the plugins page there are several hundred errors like this:
    wp-content/plugins/nobuna-plugins-manager/lib/NBHelpers/HTML.php on line 19

Once you have those solutions in place the suggestions should work as expected.
