Making adaptations to shortcode for gd_best_of

    V2 of the plugin is working great. I am now trying to learn how to use some of the short-code. The short-code works and shows 3 categories and 5 listings in each category. https://www.navigateningxia.com/best-of/

    Is it possible to specify what categories are listed or have it show more categories? Can I also have it show more than 5 listings in each categories?

    If so, how?

    You can use the shortcode builder to configure the available options.

    GD Listings is the most powerful element for listing listings and has many of the options you mention.

    Thank you for the reply. I had seen the article but didn’t understand it. I figured it out. However, the shortcode builder doesn’t work. Even if I make changes in the advanced settings the default settings are what are provided when I paste the code. Not a huge issue because I can manually change it after pasting.

    However, I am having problem with one code.

    [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” sort_by=”highest_rating” title_tag=”h3″ layout=”gridview_onehalf” post_limit=”15″ add_location_filter=”1″ view_all_link=”1″ bottom_pagination=”1”]

    This code shows listings that have not been reviewed above listings that have reviews. I do not understand why. Can you help me understand?
