Hi, I had used the tabs on the detail page, and there in the maps tab below the map, there was the button to get directions, which would show directions on the page itself.

Now, i am chanigng the page layout and instead of the map inside the tab i want to show the maps always on the page and am using the shortcode [gd_map width=”100%” height=”250px” maptype=”ROADMAP” zoom=”0″ map_type=”auto” post_settings=”1″]

However, the directions are missing and if i use the gd_post_directions shortcode that takes the user away from the site into Google maps.

How can i show directions on the page itself?

    thanks, Vivek

(PS i am still using the tabs for other fields so cannot use a tabs with only the map in it)

Try building the shortcode with the shortcode builder to build the map shortcode with map type=post to find all the advanced options, including the directions option:
