Back on May 30th. I logged a ticket about replacing the map with an image and was given the instructions on this post, https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/replacing-the-map/.
Today I wanted to restore the map on the home page and basically reversed the instructions given. So I removed the Text Widget GD Home Top and replaced it with the GD Map Home Page widget but not getting a map. I feel stupid but I guess I missed something somewhere.
    url is themindproject.net

    Thanks for the support.

I can see the map on your GD home/location pages: https://themindproject.net/location/united-states/florida/miami/

The homepage of your website is not a GD page, but a WP page.
If you want to add a map there, you can do that with a shortcode if you like:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#locationmap

    Thanks

That’s not the home page, or the page I designated.

Please see the link I posted earlier for shortcodes:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#locationmap

You can have a GD Home or a WP page as your website’s homepage, the choice is yours.
If you want to use GD Home as your website’s homepage, you will need to select it at WP Settings > Reading, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home

    Thanks

Sorry for taking so long to reply. In the instructions on this page, https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home it states setting in Geo Directory Permalinks to “GD Homepage” but we don’t have a GD Homepage in the list of pages. We’ve never deleted it. Can you help?
    Thanks

I think I figured it out. The GD Homepage appears to be the “location” page as we got the multiple location add on. Is this true? an you point me in the direction of how to modify, change etc the actual contents on the homepage? Thanks.

If there is no GD Home page, run GD > GD Tools > GD pages check
But the Location page will work too if you use a WP page for your site’s home page.

If you use the GD Home page as your website’s homepage, then you need to add widgets to the different sections as explained here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory

    Thanks
