Ok, so this is a weird one. I followed the instructions to set up the new maps API key, and it’s working on the home page. But now any maps in the Add Place dialog, the entire back end, and any sub-pages or search results don’t work at all, and I’m getting a message”

    Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

I need some help here, please.

    Hi MC1171611,

I’ve just checked with the developers and this seems to be an issue with the Google API. I’d like you to recreate a new Google API key by referring to this article https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ then on the maps sections you must add both “yoursite.com” and *.yoursite.com/*” to make it work. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

No, it’s still not working. I followed the instructions to the letter (for the second time now) and it’s not working.

This is the error in the console,

Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

Maybe wait a bit (15 minz) to see if the last change worked, if not try removing all domains (this is supposed to work but means others could steal ur key and use it

Ok, thank you very much for helping me troubleshoot this. It’s frustrating when something works, and then all of a sudden doesn’t work.

I had to remove all the domains. This is rather frustrating. Thank you for your directions on this.
