    From what I can tell Geodirectory is filtering the categories in the menu once you enter a listing. I appears to remove all links in the Food Truck menu item and only show those categories that the individual listing is added too and omitting all that are not relevant to the current listing.

    I have tried to add each category into the menu using custom links, but those are not shown either. We really just need the menu to display ALL categories that are added to the menu and not filter anything in the menu, like the default WordPress menu behaves. Can you offer a solution for this?

    Hi,

    it appears that you are using a widget in a custom mega menu?

    The widget has 2 options:

    Don’t filter for current viewing post type

    Don’t filter for current viewing category

    Are those enabled?

    Let us know…

    Thanks

    Hello,

    the widget has options, but it does not appear that Mega Menu plugin allows you to set them.

    You can try adding the menu again and setting the options as Paolo describes.

    HEllo

    I’m not sure if anyone has touched the settings in my website, however, it has completely changed.

    On 3 August I sent you all my login details to check the mega menu problem.

    For some reason on the home page “Popular Categories” is now appearing and the columns on the home page are not in 3 columns.

    Has anyone installed any plugins or made any changes? If so, what were they so we can fix it up.

    Regards
    Danielle

    Hi Alex

    I’ve checked the widgets and the Popular Post Widget – Latest Food Trucks is set at 3 columns. That isn’t showing on the home page.

    Please advise why this is occurring.

    Also, there is a custom html (below) on the home page under GD Home Top Section. The bottons and heading are not showing and the 6 boxes should be in 3 columns. Why has all this suddenly changed? Is it due to an update?

    <div class=”full-width-CTA”>
    <div class=”clear”></div>
    <div class=”home-CTA-lhs”><div class=”home-CTA-book-button”>Book a food truck
    </div>

    </div>
    <div class=”home-CTA-rhs”>
    <div class=”home-CTA-add-listing-button”>
    Add a food truck
    </div>

    </div>

    </div>
    <div class=”clear”></div>

    <div class=”full-width-CTA”>
    <div class=”home-CTA-full”>
    <div class=”homepage-CTA-heading”>
    Food Trucks 2 U connect the perfect food trucks/vendors for your event</div></div>
    </div>

    <div class=”full-width-CTA”>
    <div class=”homepage-CTA-2-col”>
    Corporate
    Market Festivals
    Market Festivals
    </div><div class=”clear”></div>
    </div>
    <div class=”full-width-CTA”>
    <div class=”homepage-CTA-3-col”>
    Schools
    WeddingsHoliday Parks</div>
    <div class=”clear”></div>

    </div>

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Dani,

    Thanks for your reply. You can use the custom CSS code below to fix it. Are you still having issues with your menu?

    .full-width-CTA {
        text-align: center;
    }

    section#custom_html-2 {
        width:100%!important;
    }

    Thank you. I don’t see how this is going to help with the buttons.

    I think there is a problem with the new update.

    The buttons are:

    Book a food truck
    Add a food truck

    and a heading:

    Food Trucks 2 U connect the perfect food trucks/vendors for your event.

    Hi Danielle,

    Thanks for your reply. I don’t think any updates from GD will affect the layouts created using elementor page builder. Maybe some custom CSS that you’ve applied previously were gone? Could you tell us how did it look like previously so that I could help you fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Danielle,

    Thanks for your reply. Honestly, we really don’t have any records on our end. Also, we do not apply changes directly to customers Website without their consent and I hope you understand.

    Thanks!

    Hello

    Thank you for that.

    I had to revert my website back to 6 August to get the website back how it normally looked.

    For some reason there must have been an update and there were changes on my website that appeared that were not made by my website designer nor myself.

    I feel as though the team a geodirectory do not take care in reading their users emails to work out what the problem is and how they can resolve it.

    It has wasted a lot of my time and my marketing teams time.

    Danielle
