    Hi,

I think I’m down to these last 2 questions and I should be good to go (I know I’m lying too).

#1 Main Menu: It’s a small thing, but it is driving my OCD crazy. How can I change the word, “Listing,” to “Listings,” (plural) in the main menu across the top of the page?

#2 At the bottom of the “Add Listing” page for each of my 3 categories, there is a check box that says, “Please accept our terms and conditions.” The text is a link that opens to another Add Listing page. How can I direct that text link to the Terms of Service page I created?

Thank you for all your help. You’ve really been fantastic! I’m completely sold on Geodirectory.

    1. Use the language file, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/

    2. Create a new WP page and link it at GD > Permalinks

    Thanks

Sorry for returning to an old thread, but I’m just getting started with translating the language file (#1 above) and had a question:

If I change “region” to “state” (in the Change Location drop down) in the language file and someone uses the word “region” in their Listing, will it be translated to the word “State?” I guess what I’m asking is if someone uses a word I changed the translation for in the .mo file, will that word also be changed in customers post/listings?

Translating in the language file only translates the plugin language string, and nothing else.
    Thanks

Thanks. I was able to change the “Listing” to “Listings” in the menu, but I’m unable to effect the “Region” in the Change Location drop down. I found 2 stand alone “Region” in the .po file: one just Region, and the other Region: with a colon at the end. Any ideas?

    Thanks again for the help!

Are you translating the multilocation language file?
