Missing 'Add Place' from wordpress dashboardsidebar

    Hiya,

    This just disappeared from our site after what we think was some hosting upgrades…

    Any ideas how we would get this back please? All listing are also missing from the front end of the site although we can see them all in the database.

    Hi Kor

    Apologies the client was getting quite anxious as the site hadn’t been working for a day so we rolled it back to a date before the login was set up. I have reset it to the latest date so your login will work again now:)

    Sorry about that, basically the site is okay now but in the background there are links going to the old website. Would you be happy to login and advise please. I can’t currently access my ftp for some reason but I’m guessing I need to use this software to update the links….

    I think if I use the usual means then Geodirecty gets corrupted. If that’s all I need to do I will speak to my host about ftp details.

    Hi Lucy,

    Instead that using that script, try using a “Search & Replace” plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/ and see if it’s easier for you to work with.

    That did the trick, when I used the other plugin with good ratings it disabled GeoDirectory but this one worked!!
