    Hello
Since I have upgraded the last version of geodirectory, (November 2016) the near me button does not work anymore on Safari. I made lots of tests, on different devices and different browsers and my conclusion is that it does not work anymore on Safari. The problem is that when we click on « near me » safari does not propose to accept the geolocalisation while Firefox and Bing does.

Could you verify if my conclusion is true and correct this?
    Thanks,

    hi,

Safari and Chrome requires the website to be under a SSL certificate to work since few months now.

    Thanks

Vincent, is that on Safari on Mac?
Can you post your WP admin details here and URL [in a private reply] so one of the developers who has Safari can check that.
I have tried with Safari on Windows and the popup asks, but Safari cannot find my location but all other browsers do.

    Hi Vincent,

I checked on my mac and the near me button worked but there was some ssl mixed content errors, you should use the “Better search replace” plugin to replace all non ssl links of your url and then try again from your end.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
