    Hi

This is related to another I was having here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-editor-required-fields/

I think there is a wider issue that is caused by v2 using new address columns in the CSV and not the existing columns in my database for the address and location.

One symptom is that all the links to my listing are now broken with the Location Manager activated:

    https://mydomain/listing/%city%/

Which I think is due to v2 using a new column for the city?

Another is that now I don’t think any of my listings have any addresses or geolocation, so don’t appear on maps. And I would need to re-input all the data to allow me to make further manual changes to the listings.

It would also help if when the ‘is featured’ functionality was refactored, the old data was used as it appears I’ve lost that relationship/data.

When I did the v2 upgrade I exported all my listings, so I can compare the two CSV files before and after. I see the new fields which have changed from the pattern ‘post_address’ to ‘address’.

I have tried to copy the data from the old columns to the new using Excel and LibreOffice. But then found that GeoDirectory threw an error when I tried to import the file, due to an invalid CSV.

I also found that if I export the data in v2 and immediately try to import it again, GeoDirectory throughs the same error without me have made any changes to the file.

I really hope this doesn’t mean I’m going to have to make a lengthy manual change to my data in the CSV before GeoDirectory will accept it again?

    Charlie

    Hi there

I did as you suggested and used the plugin to allow me to upload the CSV file, so that was ok.

I had to copy across the old to the new location columns. And also the featured and claimed data into the new columns.

This seems to have now resolved most of my problems after the v2 upgrade.
