No city only region

    Hello,

    I ve used Geotheme for some years now and have to converse to GD now.

    At first I will try only the GD core without plugins.

    For my directory I dont use cities – I have only one region as location (an isle). But I have to type in a city in “set default location”.
    And in the places its only allowed to choose an adress in the default location (street and zipcode of the default location).
    I dont need a city switcher and so on. I just need to type in different adresses (cities and villages) of that region.

    thanks for your fast reply. With that plugin activated it works.

    At first I dont want to buy an additionally plugin, because I dont need that much features.

    I just need a region instead of a default city. And I have to use different adresses (postcodes and cities/villages) – but there are a lot of small villages I dont want to manage.

    Hi,

    that is not possible with GeoDirectory.

    You must install the add-on, you don’t need to buy as it is part of your actual membership.

    GeoDirectory relays much more on the google maps api for location and you cannot work with one macro region only.

    Its a pity, but I thought so.

    It is – the change from GT to GD cost me a lot of time and money 🙁
