Hi, I upgraded recently to the 1.5.1 geo and using wordpress 4.3, also recently upgraded. Everything seemed fine after the upgrades ’til I saw that the three signups I had, just disappeared. Nothing, no trace in users either. Rather than contact the people concerned I added them again using from within wordpress/geodirectory – add places. That also seemed fine until I noticed 2 admin emails that people had signed up but not published anything, have it set for automatic publish, I tried signing up a dummy company as a test both on my computer and a friends and it gets as far as the preview listing page but when you click publish it goes straight to the home page and not listing success. Neither does it publish the content submitted. Could you suggest what may have gone wrong please as other than upgrading wordpress and geodirectory I haven’t added anything else. Thanks

Did you also upgrade all GD addons?
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-is-the-best-way-to-update-the-gd-plugins/

Are all your GD pages existing: GD > GD Tools

Are all your GD pages linked correctly: GD > Permalinks

If you’re still stuck, post your URL and admin details in a private reply so we can have a look for you.

    Hi,

you had 2 non compatible plugins. Autoptimize and Wp Super Cache. After disabling both and deleting wp super cache and it’s folder, everything work.

The only caching plugin that works with GeoDirectory is GD Booster.

    Thank you

Well Thank you Paolo, I didn’t know that. Before I contacted yourselves I deactivated just about every other plugin (and try to keep them down to a minimum) but didn’t consider those 2 could be the problem. Thank you. Have read the link Guust posted in his reply and will make backups for my site as well. Really sorry to be bothering you with these ‘little’ problems. But as always you and your team do a great job, I just love Geodirectory.

You or anyone else have never given me any impression of anything being too much. It’s a personal insight I guess that I should learn more and manage the directory better myself so that I can get more out of the directory and knowing more will allow me to promote my site for all the great features I know it has. Thank you
