    Hi anders,

Currently categories count shows upcoming event count already. Please try tool “Term counts” to recount from GeoDirectory > Status > Tools > Term counts > Run.

If this not working then provide us site link, admin & FTP credentials to look into there.

    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi,

Just to clarify, where I place a “event type” categories widget/shortcode I only want to display categories that hold upcoming events.
Other categories (that hold none or only past events) should not show up.
…otherwise (the way it is now) we end up with lots of links to categories that are empty.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Try to enable default event filter to “Upcoming” from GeoDirectory > Settings > Events > Default event filter.

Option selected from here is applied to category link to filter events.

Actually when location not set it was showing count for all events.
