    Hello,

OpenStreetMap (with V2 plugin) sets wrong address on a map.

For example, I have a listing with address 165 Cross avenue, unit #3, Oakville, Ontario.

When I google this address, first few results give full address as 165 Cross Ave #3
    Oakville, ON L6J 0A9
    .

When I copy/paste this full address into the listing address field, it shows an error message “Cannot determine address at this location”.

When I start typing manually “165 Cross avenue Oakville”, it autocompletes the address field with
“165, Cross Avenue, Castle Green, Ennisclare Park
    Oakville
    Ontario
    L6J 3J3
    Canada”

    1) It doesn’t allow to set a unit/suite number
    2) It separates street and building number by a coma (which is a wrong form in Canada, it should be 165 Cross ave)
    3) It adds some irrelevant info such as Castle Green & Ennisclare Park – I am not sure what are those, nobody uses those names, including Google.
    4) It changes the postal code from L6J 0A9 to L6J 3J3. This is absolutely incorrect postal code!!! When I manually change the postal code to L6J 0A9 and press “Set address on a map”, it changes the code back to the wrong one. It’s impossible to have a correct postal code on a listing!!
    5) Major styling issues – it takes 5 lines to display that address, while the natural way is only 1-2 lines “165 Cross ave #3 Oakville”. Canada/Ontario are all irrelevant for a local directory, as well as Castle Green & Ennisclare Park

Am I missing some settings? SSL is on. Locations/Cities include Oakville in the city list.

    Hello,

    1. Unit numbers must be added to the street address field.

    2. This can be address by changing the format, perhaps, but if the data from the API does not have a comma within the same field then it would have to be done when the listing is created.

    3. There is a wide variety of data in 3rd party libraries. We cannot control that, but many have said the quality of Google;s data is better.

    4. You can find adjustments for how the address fields and the map interact in the settings at

GD – Multilocations – ADD LISTING FORM SETTINGS

Try those settings to adjust how the two interact.

    5. the layout can be changed, see below:

We have examples for how you can reformat the address here:

    Hello Alex,

3)Would love to use better quality maps of Google, but they don’t work on my site. Generated Google Maps API key, saved it in Map settings, set Maps API to Automoatic => all maps on my site (and at the backend) say “Oops! Something went wrong.”

    4) Cannot find this anywhere: GD – Multilocations – ADD LISTING FORM SETTINGS. There is “Multiratings” tab, “Locations” tab, but no “Multilocations”.

    5) I used the Code Snippets Plugin from your link, inserted the code from you link, it results in an error message:

    Don’t Panic

The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 7:
    syntax error, unexpected ‘if’ (T_IF)

The previous version of the snippet is unchanged, and the rest of this site should be functioning normally as before.

    Thanks.

    3. Billing account must be added to activate the keys: https://console.cloud.google.com/projectselector/billing/enable?redirect=https:%2F%2Fdevelopers.google.com%2Fmaps%2Fdocumentation%2Fjavascript%2Fusage-and-billing%3FdialogOnLoad%3Dbilling-enabled

    4. My apologies, not all of these options are yet available in V2 but they are coming soon, thanks for your patience on that. They will be in the “Locations” tab when they are available.

    5. For V2 address adjustments please see:
