Option for single column widgets

    Hey guys,

    I was wondering if there was a hack or an option to make the GD Popular View widget a single column post. For example on my website I’d like the attached sidebar to just be one column, however, when I select the list version it goes all over the place. I’d like the same format, but only one column.

    Any ideas?

    Look at the “Listing width:” setting, and use a two-column grid set at 100.

    How do I expand the size of the photo to be above the listing name, star reviews, and favorite button? I’d like it to appear the same way as the widgets on the content home page demo appears.

    HI,

    In the home page they are widgets, so it will be in each widget settings that you ahve to set it to grid view 2, 3, 4 or 5 columns.

    No, that’s not what I mean. I will attach pictures. I would like the sidebar listings to appear in the same layout as the home page listings – but of course, scaled down to size to fit into the side bar.

    Right now the widget shows a small photo, with some listing details to the right of that photo. I would like to have it stacked so it shows with a large photo on the top, with the listing details below.

    That’s indeed what you need to do.
    Go to Appearance >> Widgets >> GD Home Right Sidebar

    open the settings of the popular post view widget and select grid 2 columns, then in listings width set : 100 (like Guust suggested few replies above.)

    That’s close, but not quite. This request is for SINGLE column widgets, not 2 columns.

    Setting width to 100 will override the grid setting.
    I’ve just double checked in my demo…

    100, not 100%.

    If it doesn’t I’ll need for a link and credentials to see what’s wrong.
