    Hello,

Your plugin has a lot of great features but I have difficulties to understand all the structure of the pages created (pages and archive pages). I am using the membership addons package.

I do not understand the difference between the Location Page, the GD Home Page and the places pages. I have read your documentation (https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#home) but I am still confused.

But it seems like I have the same result on :
    – my GD homepage,
    – the location page (www.mywebsite.com/location),
    – the places page (www.mywebsite.com/places) which is an archive page if I well understand.

Could you explain me that ? Maybe I should precise that I just have one CPT which is “places”.

My website is not dedicated to the directory, it will be a part of it. So my main homepage is not the GD homepage. In my main menu I would like one link to the main directory page. Maybe I should delete the GD homepage and use the places’ page as my directory HP ?

Do not hesitate to tell me if I am not clear !
Thanks a lot for your answer.

    Hello,

in most cases you will want to make that ‘one link’ point to the GD Home page which should be setup with widgets at WP – Appearance – Widgets – GD Home Content

The Home page and Location page are covered in the documentation. They share a layout, and the “Listing” page is used to create the ‘archive’ pages like the category pages – WP – Appearance – Widgets – GD Listing Page

If you need help with setup of your directory you can contact a GD Expert for concierge services. They can help you step by step to achieve your goal of integrating GD into your site so your visitors have a pleasant experience.
